With two large dogs and a toddler, we loved our daily treks to the neighborhood park. But finding a place to securely tether our dogs while our little one explored the playground or swing set was a constant challenge. We worried about the safety of other park visitors. We wanted to make sure our dogs were restrained in a way that made getting free a distant worry. We wanted to have the freedom to keep close watch on our daughter without worrying about the safety of the dogs and other park guests. From those wishes and worries, the Pooch Post was born.

Our own pooches—weighing in at 85 pounds each—tested early prototypes of the Pooch Post. Would it hold them if a squirrel went by? What about a fearless cat? We put the Pooch Post through a variety of torture tests, and the Pooch Post kept them safe and secure. We also tested the product with vets and dog trainers to ensure the safety and security of both dogs and people. Best of all, we’re confident it made others at the park feel better knowing these two big furry beasts were tightly tethered. The Pooch Post has been dog–tested and vet–approved!
